Dual Enrolment & Gateway Open Evenings

With course selection underway, students entering Years 11 - 13 may be considering Dual Enrolment or Gateway. If you would like to learn more, come to one of our information sessions.

Parents, caregivers, and students interested in applying for a gateway or dual enrolment course for 2024 are invited to an information and enrolment evening hosted by the Careers team on Tuesday, August 15th & 22nd, or Thursday, August 17th, at 6 PM in the DHS Staffroom. (Students that have previously completed their dual enrolment applications do not need to attend either of these evenings.)

Students can study at Ara Institute of Canterbury, National Trade Academy, Avon City Training Services, and Vision College for one to two days per week in a course that aligns with their pathway(s) beyond school. Students who wish to apply for the DHS Agriculture or Building Academy will be able to do so later in Term 3 but must first notify the lead tutors by email.
