Congratulations Anna Mangels! NZ Representative

Earlier this month Anna Mangels received the news that she was one of two drivers selected to represent New Zealand at the Inter Dominion 2023 Mini Trot Championship at Albion Park, Queensland, Australia.

This success follows on from Anna being awarded Canterbury Kids Karts Best Drive and Pony Combination, for the 2022/2023 season earlier this year. The Inter Dominions is Australasia’s premier harness racing event and will take centre stageat Albion Park throughout December. Anna is really looking forward to this opportunity and experience, as well as getting to meet all the participants on the Friday before the championship, at a dinner hosted by Racing Queensland.

Anna and fellow NZ representative Olivia from Southland, will take on eighteen drivers from the Sunshine State’s mini-trotting clubs (the Queensland Junior Harness Racing Association and the Queensland Mini Trotting Sporting Association) as well as other qualifiers from South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales. The mini trotters will battle it out over the Miniatures, Shetlands and Ponies divisions.
