9 Multi Materials have made toolboxes!

This term we made toolboxes out of sheet metal. First we made 3D paper models then we were given measurements which we marked out on the sheet metal and we cut it out with tin snips - this was the most challenging part of it all. Working in pairs we buddied up and bent the metal into place. Then we spot welded it all, (wearing safety glasses of course!) to make these amazing boxes. There was an option to paint it if we wished and we drilled our handles on. The handles personalised each of our tool boxes. Mr Finnigan told us to say he's the best teacher and we're his favourite students!
