On Friday 14th July our senior kapahaka group made up from students in Tuna and Kahawai had the privilege to be invited to perform at ‘Celebrate Matariki in Kaiapoi.’ This was only our second community performance this year and our students did incredibly well after only having a limited number of practices before this event. With the support of Whāea Tania and Matua Willie they represented our school with pride. A big thank you also needs to go out to Miss Gunn for all her organisation and flying back early from Southland to support our students. This was a great community evening.
