North Canterbury Kapa Haka

Our Kapahaka Groups have been working very hard this year with Whāea Tania and Mātua Willy to prepare for our annual performance in the North Canterbury Kapahaka Celebration. They are very excited about this upcoming event. There will be more information coming out however, please note the following regarding ticket sales!

Date and Time:

• KBS Juniors (Patiki) Year 3-4: Monday 30th November, 11am - 1pm
• KBS Seniors (Tuna & Kahawai) Year 5-8: Monday 30th November, 6pm - 8:30pm

Location: Ohoka School Hall, 261 Jacksons Road Ohoka

Note, our Inanga (Year 1-2) group will not be performing at Ohoka this year. Instead this group will perform to our whānau here at school - date and time to be advised.

Tickets: Tickets are available after Thursday 26th November from Tuahiwi School. Cash or bank deposit only (no EFTPOS!).

Door sales: The day shows will have door sales but it is highly unlikely that the night show will.

There will be raffles and baking for sale at the event. No eftpos, cash only.

Please be prepared to stay for the entire show. You will need to be seated before the show commences, and out of courtesy, please do not leave the show until after the final performance. This is so that the groups who are performing in the second half of the show will have an audience to perform to. Doors will be closed during performances and you will not be allowed in.
