Kapa Haka at Polyfest!
Our Kapa Haka made us so incredibly proud this week! Mīharo!
70 of our amazing learners performed at the Central Otago Polyfest on Wednesday.
They were absolutely tau kē (awesome!). The represented our kura with so much mana.
A very big thank you to Mrs Jenkins and Miss Beedie for leading Kapa Haka. Also thank you to the whānau that came along to support them.
Here are a few of the photos that were taken, as well as a stunning piece of writing, by Willow in Year 5, about the importance of Kapa Haka.
Two of our learners delivered an outstanding performance with their Pasifika group, and Esther in Year 5 has also done some writing about her experience to share along with some beautiful photos.
