Our council met for the first time last week and have some exciting events planned for this term! 

• 02 November - Wheels Day!

Bring your wheels for a wheely good time!

• 4 November - Gumboot Friday

Gumboot Friday is a bi-annual fun and awareness raising event where New Zealand comes together to raise money for free kids counselling, while wearing Gumboots! Since 2021, kiwis have donated $3.3 million to fund free kids counselling and at the time of printing, Gumboot Friday has funded 20,481 counselling sessions, helping 9,376 kiwi kids. This year their goal is to raise $2 million.

Wear your Whanau group colours and your gumboots (if you have some!) and bring a gold coin donation to help support this great cause!

• 25 November - Non-uniform day - A Celebration of Culture

Dress to reflect your culture or a celebration that you enjoy! Bring a gold coin donation - all proceeds going to Starship Children's Hospital. 

They are also looking at ideas for larger fundraising campaigns for next year and a VERY exciting whole school cultural celebration in Term 1 2023! Watch this space!
