On Thursday, ten awesome Year 5-8 Te Kura Whakatipu o Kawarau learners went to the Wakatipu Cross Country Championships in Arrowtown. It was a really rough, wet and slippery course and it was at a 45 degree angle in parts. It was one of the hottest and sunniest days this winter which made it more challenging. Everyone tried their hardest and made the school proud. 

Archie Freeman and Kenzie Bocatios both qualified for the Central Otago Cross Country. We all wish them good luck for the next race!
