Non-Uniform Day

Gratitude —

Today we encouraged everyone to come to school dressed in their brightest and sparkliest outfits in support of the Relay for Life! Everyone looked amazing!

A huge thank you to everyone who was able to make a donation towards this incredibly important fundraiser.

Relay For Life is all about celebrating the people in our communities who had or have cancer and the loving people who care for them. It's also one of the Cancer Society's biggest fundraising events. Your support helps cancer patients and their whānau get the care and practical support they need; including specialist advice and information, transport to treatment, and accommodation when undergoing treatment far from home. You’re also protecting future generations of New Zealanders by helping to fund ground-breaking cancer research and vital prevention programmes.

Relay for Life - Our Team!

This Saturday, roughly 20 Te Kura Whakatipu o Kawarau learners are taking part in Relay For Life at the Lake Hayes Pavilion. Relay for Life is an event that supports those who are effected by Cancer. In total the Te Kura Whakatipu o Kawarau team has raised nearly eight thousand dollars and are currently third place! We are aiming for first! We are all looking forward for tomorrow and hope that we can help out one of our close friends and students Melia Davis.
