During week 7 (Monday 13 - Friday 17 March) our whole school will be celebrating the diversity of the cultures within our community. We are so lucky to have different nationalities represented within our classes and plan to make our ‘Cultural Celebrations Week’ an annual event, to support the ways in which we already celebrate each other throughout the year.

If you'd like to come along and share stories, language or anything else relating to your culture please get in touch with your child's teacher.

Friday will be our whole school day of celebration. Our learners will be encouraged to dress in clothing representing their nationality or culture (even if it’s just the colours of their flag). We’ll hold a parade and have activities for learners to do during the day.

Food is such an important part of culture and we want to make this a key feature of our week! We invite families to bring along a plate of food that can be shared on the Friday. 

If there are any very keen people who would like to volunteer to run a food table/stall representing their culture we would love that!
