We love having visiting educators in our classes. These are a few friendly faces you may be seeing around over the next few weeks.

Kia ora! My name is Jess McLeay, and I have joined the team in Bayonet Hapori for 7 weeks as part of my teacher training through the University of Canterbury.

Kia Ora! My name is Anne Wesley I am working with the Year 7/8s in Bayonet for the next four weeks. I am from Colorado in the United States studying at the University of Otago in Dunedin. I am so excited to get to know all the kids and learn from this school's amazing teachers!

Hi! My name is Sam Phillips, and I am working with the Year 1 (Hope) students this month. I am from Chicago, Illinois in the United States, but I am currently studying at the University of Otago. I am extremely excited to get to know the students better and learn more about teaching from the wonderful teachers here. I look forward to a fantastic month!

Hi! My name is Maggie Moore, and I’m super excited to be working with the Year 4-6 students as a student teacher from the University of Otago this month. I’m originally from North Carolina in the United States, and I am loving getting to learn more about New Zealand this semester. I look forward to a great month!

Kia ora! My name is Grace Rasmussen, and I will be working with the Cecil group for the next four weeks. I am originally from Pennsylvania in the United States, but I am studying in New Zealand at the University of Otago for this semester. I have loved working with the students so far, and I am so excited to get to know all of them more throughout the rest of my time here.

Hello! My name is Lily Ragals and I am so excited to be working with the Year 1 students this month. I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia in the United States, and am now studying Primary Education at the University of Otago in Dunedin. I have loved working with the students on handwriting and math and cannot wait for a fantastic month of learning about education in New Zealand!
