Year 7 students are learning how to discuss their designs including improvements and next steps.

Year 7 students are learning the process of creativity in Design Technology. An important part of this is knowing how to talk about your own designs. It's also valuable to be able to recognise how to improve or change your design.

I have been so impressed with our students' abilities to talk about their creative work. They do some test prints of their textile stencils and they can identify what needs changing and how to do it.

When we make mistakes in our designing, we are learning this is an opportunity to learn or make a discovery. Sometimes we mix paint together and we don't make the colour we wanted. But we end up liking the new colour more.
