Ahoy Captain! From bottles to boats: recycling at its finest.

Laura Compton —

In a sea of waste, a novel idea emerged: crafting boats from recycled materials. These vessels, once mere trash, now sail as beacons of innovation and environmental stewardship.

Reduce, reuse, re-cruise! Our boats are leading the way in sustainable sailing.

In Rooms 2 & 3, our exploration of navigation and boats has taken a creative turn! Inspired by our lessons and a commitment to sustainability, students have ingeniously crafted boats using recycled materials. From plastic bottles to cardboard, each vessel tells a story of resourcefulness and environmental consciousness. Through this hands-on project, students not only learn about the principles of navigation but also the importance of repurposing materials to protect our planet. Stay tuned as we set sail on a journey of innovation and eco-awareness!

These boats may be made of recycled materials, but they're anything but trashy!
