Lisa McCulloch - Food Technology
'Nāu te rourou, nāku te rourou, ka ora ai te iwi' - With your food basket (contribution) and my food basket, the people will prosper.
Kia ora, ko Whaea Lisa tōku ingoa. I have been teaching for 12 years and have taught a mix of age levels. I am the Food Technology teacher and will be relieving in Room 2/3 on Monday afternoons. Before coming to SIS, I taught at Queenspark School for 4 years and I have also relieved at a number of schools including Tuahiwi and Waltham.
I grew up in Te Matau-a-Maui (Hawkes Bay), in a little place called Mohaka and I attended high school in Wairoa and Rotorua. Before teaching, I lived in Tāmaki Makaurau and worked in banking. I am married and have two children, Aimee (17 yrs) and James (23 yrs).
When not at school, I enjoy time with my family and friends, watching my teenagers play sports, gardening, learning Te Reo Māori and relaxing.
