Room 4 Students have been working throughout the year towards earning science badges through the Science Award Trust. There are 10 different badges being worked towards across the classroom.

To earn a badge you must complete 20 points worth of tasks from a wide list under a specific badge.

Thomas is about to earn his Large Animals badge with 90% of his tasks completed (18/20)

He has made presentations for each of his tasks including

  • Studying the Aggressive behaviours of Australian Saltwater crocodiles

  • Predator Food Webs

  • How to take care of domestic cats in your home

  • The Difference between mammals and non-mammals

  • The Extraordinary Pig

Did you know that the Australian Saltwater Crocodiles are known to be the most dangerous and aggressive crocodiles in the whole world. These specific Crocodiles are incredibly territorial on their land. If anything approaches their territory, they’ll be quickly dealt with.

Amelia has been working towards her Psychology badge.

Sigmund Freud was a psychologist from Austria. He was a famous neurologist and he was the founder of psychoanalysis ( a theory of how the mind works and a method of helping people in mental distress).

Did you know that according to Sigmund Freud, the biggest impacts on someone's personality development is love and aggression.
