Hit the ground running. Nau mai te wāhanga tuarua!

The ākonga in Te Tāhu Rua Reo have settled well into the routines of learning this term. We have been looking at Masi and Kapa. Thank you to the parents who donated the masi for the class to look at and take inspiration for their own creations.

We are well into laying the foundations of kapa haka. The group went through some basics of kapa haka and some basic kapa haka formations. This will set the scene for future performances. The sports teams for Winter Sports are going to be chosen and we start Winter Sport later on in the term.

We are looking at using appropriate language when talking with others in our PB4L focus this week.
