Whaea Ang and I are the kaiako in Te Tāhu Rua Reo. We are the Bi-lingual Maōri class at Te Oraka - Shirley Intermediate. We are found at the end closest to the Administration Office. Te Tāhu Rua Reo has the Wharenui and a teaching and learning space.
I have been teaching in Bi-lingual Māori, Total Immersion Māori and Kura Kaupapa settings for most of my career. I have been at Te Oraka - Shirley Intermediate for seven years.

I am interested in Māori Education, kapa haka and some sport. I have been known to bounce around the netball court.

Hello. I hope that through education, I can help students follow a path leading to a life they enjoy. This means knowing and embracing their culture, and succeeding in reading, writing and maths.
