For 2024 Jenni will be based in Room 1 and be the homeroom teacher for her Year 7 and Year 8 class.

Welcome to 2024 at Te Oraka Shirley Intermediate. This is my 3rd year teaching here at Te Oraka, and it will be my 18th year of teaching! I look forward to returning with my year 7s from 2023 and welcoming some new year 7s and 8s from various schools in the area to combine for 2024. 

In the first few weeks of this term, we will focus on building connections with each other and identifying and developing our growth mindset. I'm very excited to venture out on our annual sailing trip in wiki 2 of the term for some team building and skill development.

 I have attached an image of a general overview of Room 1's class timetable for term 1 to see when we have scheduled PE, Science, Technology other lessons.
