Te Puna Pukeko begins their hockey season on the front foot.

The Y7-8 team, made up of  players in Y5-8 from Te Puna and Omokoroa Point School won their first 2 grading games on Friday night.  Benjamin Baardsen, pictured above, the youngest team member had a strong game.  Great to hear good sportsmanship demonstrated by Keanu, who volunteered to support the other team in the first game, as they were down a player.
