The Challenge - to create a “runway ready” outfit out of newspaper, tape and 10 paperclips.

Another challenge was set for last week.

Details and Criteria:

• Think - whole outfit with accessories

• Eg: dress (or pants and top), cape, hat, scarf, jewellery, bag, shoes, belt.

• Different items should relate to each other/go together - style wise

• One group member is to be the model- make the outfit on them

We are noticing that the children are working more successfully in their groups and are beginning to think about allocating specific jobs for each member. This has meant they are more efficient with their time.

Cash Chesham reflects on Figure it Out Friday

On Figure it Out Friday, my team was making a superhero suit. We got to have 5 magazines. We got scissors and 10 little paperclips but my group did not use the paperclips. Our model was wearing a mask at the end and he looked like he was just covered in magazines.
