School-wide Kapa Haka starts tomorrow

Ani Kuka is beginning a Kapa Haka training schedule on Tuesday Afternoons- open to all students. She will run a session for juniors and then a session for seniors- staff will learn alongside their students.

We are planning to learn a whole school song, some action songs and a 'waiata tautoko' - a song that we can use to support a speaker from the school.

This learning will run for the balance of the term and the programme will be reviewed, refined and run throughout 2021with the aim of holding performances and incorporating elements of Kapa Haka at events like Country Fair, 125th celebration and of course, our school production!
