As one of their writing activities last week the senior students wrote poems. These poems let us know all the things children have to do in lockdown before the fun starts.

Lockdown Poems

If it’s past 7 pm and it’s dark,

If I’ve done my homework,

and the TV isn’t on,

If Theo is in bed (after 9 hours of Roblox),

If Dad is on his tablet,

If I’ve cleaned everything in sight,

If Mum says ask Dad,

If Dad says soon (Clean the floor, Tobes)

If Miss-Miss is in my bed,

and all the dogs have been fed,

Then I can go on the Xbox!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I’m on lockdown and it’s raining,

If no one is on the Tv

If we can find the TV remote,

Online School is done

When I have taken Charlie for a bush walk,

Taken all the dishes out of the dishwasher

When the movie has been chosen,

Packed away all my toys

Then we can watch a movie.
