Congratulations to our Y6-8 tamariki who applied for this opportunity and were chosen from many applicants across WBOP schools to attend WBEET Aspiring Sports Leaders 2021. 

Benjamin Baardsen - Hockey, Shaun Addidle - FootballI, Sam Hesmondhalgh - Basketball, William Brown - Rugby, Holly Walpole- Tennis, Ingrid Stripling - Athletics, Elias Baardsen - Hockey, Olivia McMillin - Netball. 

The tamariki were exposed to top coaching in their respective codes and Les Elder (Black Ferns Captain), was the guest speaker.  The day provided our young sporting leaders with the opportunity to learn new skills that will enhance their sporting leadership for the future.
