Our Y4-8 representatives did their North Cluster team proud on a beautiful sunny day last Tuesday at Waipuna Park.

Congratulations to all of our runners, they ran their hearts out in what is known as an extremely tough race. 

It is fast paced, and they literally look like a stampede of horses for the first 100m as they break from the start line, in an intense 100m sprint jostling for position. If you are not in the front pack to start it is very difficult to regain a position in the lead pack.

Therefore we were extremely proud of all our runners, and to have Daniel, Ruby, Lola and Harley gain a top 15 position to qualify to the BOP Champs, is a well earned bonus. This event will be held in Opotiki on Thursday.

Maddie, Y6 placed 30th

Ruby, Y5 placed 13th.

Lola, Y4 placed 15th.

Harley, Y4 placed 7th.

Albie, Y4 placed 26th.
