Donelle Shilling led an amazing art lesson with the staff last week.

We were focussing on observational drawing. 

We had to:

• look carefully at the subject we are drawing

• press lightly 

• draw the main or largest shapes first

• add detail 

We learnt lots of interesting ways to teach drawing and even had fun ourselves drawing fish and insects. It is always good to experience what it is like to be a pupil again.

We have some very talented drawers on the staff.
