Harriet Spearman's long lost medal has been returned.

Harriet Spearman was being awarded her athletics medal in front of the school assembly 8 years ago on the library steps when disaster struck.  She dropped her cherished medal and it fell down between the cracks of the deck never to be seen again. She was devastated.

Until - Friday - when the construction workers dismantled the deck and discovered the medal.

Harriet was rapt to be reunited with her medal and after 8 long years it is now sitting in pride of place with her other all her other treasures.
