Easter Tuesday, NZ schools are closed

Yes, as well as Good Friday(29th) and Easter Monday (1st), for some unknown reason NZ schools also have Easter Tuesday (2nd) as well.

Most families of children in Y3 and up will know this, but newer families and those who started school more recently may not be aware as Easter has fallen during the school holidays recently. 

Although this date has been on the calendar all year, it was remiss of me not to think to highlight this clearly in a newsletter- apologies to those of you who are surprised by this.
