Luckily the rain held off, and our tamariki and whānau got to support all of our awesome runners today with a little bit of sunshine on their backs.

It was great to see so many whānau supporting today, and awesome to see the effort that our tamariki put in. Congratulations to all of our tamariki for trying really hard, even when it hurt, they dug a little deeper to finish. 

Thanks to our staff for preparing our tamariki as well as they could, given the very unsettled weather in the lead up.

The next level of competition against other top runners from our Cluster for Y7-8 Tall Poppies is next Tuesday, and the Y4-6 North Cluster, is Tuesday 30th May, held at Whakamarama School. A letter will come home this week with those selected, asking for permission, transport and support on the course.
