An exciting family day of activities for all age groups has been planned for Saturday 1st October to celebrate the centenary of the Te Puna Memorial Hall. There will be something for everyone, including circus activities and performances, a variety of food vendors on-site and an evening cabaret.

The Have-a-Go Circus workshop for all ages will be running from 11am until1.00pm. Learn from professional tutors from Circus in a Flash, who perform as well as teach kids and families real circus skills, like:
* Juggling balls, rings & clubs
* Flower sticks, diablo
* Spinning plates
* Hula hoops
* Poi spinning
* Riding unicycles

This will be followed at 1.00pm by a formal welcome and karakia in the Hall, followed by two performances at 1.30pm and 2.30pm by Ringmaster Rowan of Circus in a Flash.
The first performance will be tailored for younger children and the second for a more general audience.

Free Entry to all these events.
(In the event of bad weather, the event will go ahead inside the Hall)

In the evening you're invited to join us for a supper cabaret featuring The Madeleines, a vintage vocal trio from Auckland who will transport you to a golden era of jazz, swing and glamour. Attendees are encouraged to get into the spirit of the era and dress in theme.
Enjoy a complimentary drink on arrival and a light supper by local caterer Blank Canvas. Cash bar available. Tickets are $60.00 each available @ Eventbrite.
