Poppy Entwisle was part of the Canterbury Scholastics Surfing Team that represented Canterbury at the National Scholastics Surfing Competition in Taranaki in the school holidays.

Poppy was a pleasure to have in the team and surfed really well. Poppy won all her heats but was unlucky to come third in a very close final in the Under 14 Girls division. The Canterbury Team came a very close second to Auckland and every team member should be proud of the team's achievements.

We hope she continues surfing and tries out for the team next year.
