On Wednesday 1st of March 2023 the classes ELC, CEFa, CEFb and CE1 went to the Earthquake Memorial Wall in Christchurch.

The teachers and teacher aides who came with us were Clyde, Marc, Beate, Namrud, Naima and Bushra. We left at 1pm and walked along the river. We looked at the names on the wall and remembered the people who died. Then we walked back to school. The weather was warm and fine. Thanks to our teachers for organising the trip. All students had looked at pictures, videos and listened to people’s experiences of the earthquake and how it affected Christchurch in preparation for the trip.
