Meet Esiteri, a Year 13 student here at Te Puna Wai o Waipapa - Hagley College.

Her dream is to become a pilot and is she is currently part of the Gateway programme. Esiteri is completing an introduction course with the International Aviation Academy of NZ. This includes written study, simulator training and a flight with an instructor.

Recently, she went to an information workshop and here you will see Esiteri pictured with an instructor in one of the aircraft simulators.
