Year 12 Art Passion Project

Nathan Walsh —

Students in Year 12 Art Passion Project recently exhibited their Art Works at the Pūmanawa Community Exhibition Space at the Arts Centre.

There was an amazing range of art works representing the theme of emotions. Students represented their emotions via loneliness, relationships, lockdowns, body image, colour theory and pure raw emotion. Each artist spent the year creating their own unique interpretation of the theme of emotions, constructing concepts, refining their ideas, gaining feedback from stakeholders, and creating some wonderful artworks. It was great to see a wide range of media exhibited from traditional paintings to digital art, moving image and installations.
