Alexander Negus was fortunate to get a place at the SailGP and Ara Engineering Event.

Alexander got to work in a team to understand airflow concepts, work in a team to build a kit-set SailGP miniature craft and test it on the water, learn basic CAD design concepts in design and aerodynamics, and attend a presentation by SailGP where they showed students some leading NZ engineering (ie a wing from the keel milled from a solid block of titanium coated with cardon fibre).
