The School of Fashion got creative over lockdown.

The first lockdown activity for the Fashion School was to create a bucket hat and post a picture of it on our Facebook group page. This helped everyone to connect with what each other was doing and to see how easy it would be to do practical sewing tasks from home.

Many students did not have access to fabric so it was a case of re-purposing garments or finding scraps. The pattern was provided; however, those without access to a printer came up with interesting ways of getting the pattern off their screens. The results were fun and varied, and the sharing and commenting gave us a fun way to connect from home.
