Host families are needed in New Zealand.

We have 22 exchange students from Australia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany & Italy arriving in July who are anxiously waiting to hear news of their host family in New Zealand.

They are about to embark on a huge adventure to become an exchange student in New Zealand and not knowing where they will be hosted is hugely stressful for the students and their parents alike. I know you will understand their anxiety.

Can you please help us find a family within your school community who would be happy to welcome one of our fantastic exchange students in to their home in July for a short term duration, for 3, 5 or 10 months? We will be happy to pay a host family finder's fee of $500 to Hagley Community College.

Welcoming an overseas exchange student into your home is a very rewarding experience. Host families help provide students with the chance to experience life in New Zealand. It’s a great way to practice your language skills, share your stories and establish a lifelong link to a family in another country.
