On August 31st we woke to a beautiful day for the annual Hagley Snow trip to Mt Hutt.

Due to such a successful day out in 2021 we doubled the number of places available for students and on the day 76 ski and snowboarders rocked up to school at 6:30am with loads of excitement for the day ahead.

Once at Mt Hutt, many students went to borrow gear and then got set up for the class lessons in the morning. The sun was out all day and made for some fantastic views over the Canterbury plains as everyone learnt new skills from the Mt Hutt instructors. After a quick stop for lunch, everyone was then keen to head back out onto the slopes to practice those new skills, with Hagley staff helping out along the way.

A fantastic day was had by all and a very triumphant and sleepy set of students made their way back home at the end of the day.
