Students in Kaupapa Pai Kete Wana have been involved in projects to benefit the kura and wider community.

Some of the projects they've undertaken are writing chalk messages outside the hospital, volunteering up at Ōtākaro Orchard Urban Farm, and promoting collections for local charities and raising funds for Christchurch Bull Breed Rescue, Cat Rescue, and City Mission. The students were keen to get involved in the mini projects and built skills along the way, such as organisation, teamwork, and experience the benefits of doing good for others. He taonga rongonui te aroha ki te tangata - goodwill towards others is a precious gift.
