You may have seen the adverts on TV that are part of a Ministry of Education campaign about getting students to school more regularly.

This is part of a new attendance and engagement scheme.

One of the things we have done is to provide our whānau with a list of supports that we have available for parents to help get their child to school regularly. There are so many benefits to a child attending school every day and it is almost always true that students who are here more do better. This isn’t always as simple as that though, and we are committed at Te Puna Wai o Waipapa – Hagley College in supporting parents to get their teens to school everyday. I hope you find it useful.
