Wheelers ePlatform - Books Are Available Now!

Liz Jones —

At this time when you are all spending a lot more time at home, the Library’s Wheelers ePlatform has much to offer.

You can borrow e-books and e-audiobooks from home and download them onto your phones or laptops, and read or listen completely free. Audiobooks are a great way to entertain yourself while doing boring tasks or when out walking or biking. You can store the book offline so you can listen when you’re not in a Wi-Fi zone.

So, what do you do? Firstly, go to your app store and download the free ePlatform by Wheelers app. It will then ask you to choose your school. Then you can browse the titles available, and when you click on Borrow, it will ask you to sign in. To sign in, students need to use their usual school login details. There’s no need to worry about overdues because titles are automatically returned after two weeks, at which point you can re-issue or reserve the book if you haven’t quite finished it.

All of these details are on the Library’s homepage, where you can also find lots of links to good information sites, like the Christchurch City Libraries site (they have a huge number of e-resources) and the EPIC databases.
