While navigating our new "bubble" lives, we've also been planning a new approach to Year 9 enrolments for 2021.

We quickly realised that our usual process of an Open Evening, held early in Term 2, where whānau could come in and listen to the Principal, view the school, and talk to teachers and students, wasn't going to happen this year given our national level 4 lockdown status.

We've moved to a different enrolment process. Please contact Lisa Amer via email on lisa.amer@staff.hagley.school.nz for enrolment information and an application form. Our Junior College Lookbook is being produced and will soon be available on our website. In addition, Suzanne Waters (Director of Students) will be available to answer any questions that you might have about learning in the Junior College, either by email on ws@hagley.school.nz or by phoning 027 449 2100.

The enrolment period will open on 14 May and will close on 19 June. Please note that all applications need to be received by the closing date, even if your child is in a priority enrolment category such as having a sibling currently or previously enrolled. We have unfortunately had siblings of students miss out in the past because their applications were received after the closing date.

While there is uncertainty over what will happen at the end of the lockdown period, we are hopeful that the second and third phases of enrolment (testing and interviews) will be able to proceed in Term 3 as usual.
