Jason Yen from Hagley Adult Literacy Centre

At Hagley Adult Literacy Centre (HALC) we are very fortunate to have over sixty (!!!) amazing volunteers who give their time to learners in classes across the city.

One of these, Jason Yen, has been recognised this year at the Christchurch Civic Offices award ceremony hosted by Volunteering Canterbury. Jason contributes his time and positive outlook to classes in Papanui and Upper Riccarton every week and is a much appreciated and much liked member in the classes. We are very grateful to the time Jason, and all our other volunteers, gift to our learners and would like to thank them all for their support.
