The vehicle will be entered into the 2022 EVolocity competition. Rod is a retired engineer who has built several of these vehicles. He is helping our students with their build and advising them on the competition. The vehicle is made from recycled parts including bike parts donated by Outdoor Ed. Tobi Carlyle is another student currently involved in the project designing an energy monitoring system. The EVolocity program is a collaboration between the Hard Materials and Electronics technology learning areas. Aaron and Oscar are moving to Ara in Term 3 but they have left a legacy for other students which will be greatly appreciated.
