Jen Rayner is a new student to Hagley and is in Year 13 at the College. Find out a bit more about her and how she is finding it

Hi I'm Jen Rayner and I am new into Year 13 at Hagley College. I was previously at Avonside Girls where I achieved NCEA Level 1, 2 and 3. I have come to Hagley with the goal of achieving University Entrance. I am studying a variety of subjects including Maths, Pop Culture - English and Music. The main reason for this is to keep my options open for next year.

Like lots of teenagers, I don't really know what I want to do in the future!

My interests are listening to music and hanging out socialising with my friends. I also work as much as I can at McDonalds.

How am I settling into Hagley? Well I am really enjoying it!! Everyone is so friendly and nice and I'm loving the flexibility of being able to take classes at night. My timetable has worked out so I can work during the week as well as work towards my goal of University Entrance.

I'm looking forward to getting to know people better.
