It is the week of senior prize giving as I write this and we are yet to celebrate all of the awesome achievements of our senior students this year.

The Te Puna Wai o Waipapa - Hagley College Senior Prizegiving was held at St Margaret's College on November 8, 2023.

Enrolment Day is happening on Tuesday 30 January 2024, from 9am til 3pm for Years 12, 13 and Adult students.

This year, several Year 13 Business Studies groups have taken part in the Young Enterprise Scheme.

Congratulations to all our students who took part in the New Zealand Programming Contest in August 2023. Two teams were entered.

Students have recently completed their 2023 projects.

McKenzie is a Year 13 student who has had great success in swimming over many years.

This year we’ve been extremely blessed to have an awesome team of champions come in and run the Tu’u Mālohi program with our Pasifika tamaiti.

I have long been a believer that Art enriches lives. I see it in my classroom every day – as I see it in my own life. Art connects us. It nourishes us. It challenges us (to the very core of our being, at times).

Congratulations to this year's graduates in gaining the New Zealand Certificate in ECE level 3.

TechMate is a Community Support organisation that provides repurposed laptops to members of the community who would otherwise not be able to to have one.

Last week the majority of our Year 10 students took part in the NCEA Literacy and Numeracy co-requisite exams.

January 2024 will once again see relaxed and refreshed Te Puna Wai o Waipapa staff coming back from holidays early to offer Catch Up College!

Finally, more bees and butterflies are out and about; we are welcoming the warmer weather recently. Our senior students have finished their internal assessments and are sitting for the external exams from 6th November.
