Te Rāwhiti Kindergarten update

Office - Te Rā School —

Festivals and fun times ahead in the kindergarten

Kia ora e te whānau

Thank you to all the whānau that came for the working bee and made the Kindergarten look refreshed with new bark chips and gardening. You may notice some improvements in the garden over the next few months, starting with our shed, which will hopefully be finished by the Harvest Fair and is having a complete upgrade of the roof, floor, and wall panels. We are exploring grants to specifically fund new play equipment. If anyone has any suggestions these would be much appreciated.

The weather is turning to autumn, please remember warm clothing, wet weather pants, jackets, and gumboots for the tamariki over the coming months. At this time of year comes our wonderful Ngāhuru Festival on the 6th of April, which is the last day of term. The festival is just for the children, but we warmly invite you to bring along something to share (fruit and veg, nuts, jam.... anything from the garden) for our harvest table. The children can choose something from the table to take home with them when you pick them up between 2:30pm and 2:45pm.

Its nearly time for the Harvest Fair where the Kindergarten comes to life to create a beautiful wonderland for our young tamariki. If you have any questions, please talk to your parent liaisons, make sure you jump on a rostered shift for the day and enjoy the fun with your whānau.

Keep warm and dry.

Ngā mihi
