School and Kindy Working Bee

Office - Te Rā School —

Saturday 25th November

With the coming of spring some areas of our school grounds have dried out enough for us to hopefully reclaim some small areas that have been under water for over a year. With this in mind, if anyone who is coming to the working bee on the 25th of November has a heavy duty weed eater/brush cutter we would really like to ask you to come along and help clear some of the thick swamp grass etc that has grown while it was unable to be used.

We are also hoping to lay a small area of paving outside of class 7 to increase the outdoor seating area, we have the pavers, but if there are any builders with experience with laying pavers planning to attend, please contact Jason at jasong@tera.school.nz to discuss other materials required etc.

Other than that, all the jobs we have planned will just require some hands-on physical effort and enthusiasm.

As usual we will be providing a sausage sizzle on the day, but please feel free to bring along kai for a shared lunch.

Ngā mihi,

Jason Grundy
