Hōhepa Vacancy: Music Teacher/Musician

Are you passionate about music and interested in sharing the joy of making music with others? Hōhepa (based in Otaihanga) is seeking a skilled musician or music teacher to facilitate a twice weekly session of 1.5 to 2 hour music session with individuals who have an intellectual disability.

As Rudolf Steiner once said, "Music is the expression of the will of nature while other arts are expressions of the idea of nature." In this role, you'll be helping individuals experience the joy and upliftment that comes from making music together.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals who have an intellectual disability. You should be patient, compassionate, and able to adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of each individual. This is a uniquely rewarding opportunity to use your musical talents to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
