Biodynamic Gardening

Office - Te Rā School —

Just like spring, Biodynamic Gardening is starting to grow again at our kura. We invite you to join us in this journey.

A gardening initiative is germinating and this impulse to re-ignite Biodynamic practices in the school garden has found some support. 😊

You are invite to join us.

A group will be gathering on Sunday afternoon 24 November at 2pm in the Te Rā Marama Kai (back right hand corner of the school grounds) for a family friendly stir of Seed Soaking mix.

  • Bring a few seeds (it's a good time for fruiting plants so beans, cucumbers, watermelon etc)

  • a jar or small bucket (preferably with lids)  to put some of the soak into to take home

  • some afternoon tea to share.

We are also looking for a source of biodynamic cow manure and cow horns to put down a cowpat pit preparation (CPP) – if you have a contact for these please email Toni - toniw@tera.school.nz
