Parent education initiatives for this term

A reminder that we have some workshops coming up in the next few weeks. Spread the word!

On Tuesday September 24 Florian Osswald is visiting our school.

This is an opportunity to hear someone who is a world leader in Waldorf education!

Florian spent many years as the co-leader of education at the Gotheanum - the world centre for anthroposophical work. He is also an experienced Waldorf High School teacher and educational consultant.

Florian is a warm and engaging speaker who speaks out of practical experience. He will give a talk for our community on Waldorf Education and Resilience in the Modern World. We hope to see a big turn out for his talk and would really encourage you to come!

In the week before Florian's visit, Paul Fletcher will hold a parent evening on a similar theme - preparing the ground for the following week. Paul has been at Te Rā for 10 years. For most of that time he has been a class teacher and more recently he has been our woodwork teacher. Paul is always a very thoughtful and insightful speaker and I'm sure this will be another great opportunity to learn together.
